Voting registration deadline is Oct. 5th

Lamb County residents who have not registered to vote in the 2020 general elections, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, now have time to be sure they are registered, if they are in doubt and intend to vote.

The deadline to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 5, 2020.

Registration for voting in Lamb County is done during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Voter Registrar’s Office, on the first floor of the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield.

Early Voting

The early voting period runs from Tuesday, Oct. 13 thru Friday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lamb County Ag and Community Center, (17th Street and Hall Avenue) in Littlefield, and in Olton at the City Hall.

The extended hours for early voting in those locations will be offered on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and 20, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the local elections that are usually held in May, were rescheduled to beheld during the Nov. 3 general elections.
