This year, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Lamb Healthcare Center’s Annual Trunk or Treat will be a drivethrough event, to promote a safe Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 6 p.m. on the hospital’s north (front) parking lot.

Everyone will stay in their vehicle and to keep the traffic moving, the candy and treats will be in bags that will be handed to each child in the vehicle.

Two lines will be set up for the drive-through.

Businesses participating in the annual Trunk or Treat, may still set up a spot in the front parking lot and hand the bagged treats from both sides of the vehicles.

Those with the candy and treats are invited to come, dressed up in a favorite costume (or not), and take candy or goodies to hand out.

“Just show up in the front parking lot and you will be shown where to park.”

The event is to promote a safe Halloween for all the youngsters in the community.

If anyone would like to help with candy or treat donations, those donations will be accepted from now until Friday, Oct. 30. Take the donations through the front door of Lamb Healthcare Center, and someone will meet you there to receive the donations.

In past years, more than 550 Trick or Treaters have gone through the lines to get their treats and candy.”That’s a lot of candy!”.
