The Texas Producers Cooperative based in Sudan, Texas had their annual meeting at the Lamb County Ag Center in Littlefield on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
TCP board President Bryan Baker opened the meeting and passed it off to Texas Producers Coop CEO Guyle Roberson, who in his self-deprecating manner entertained his audience with his account of the moment he received his Top Coop Business Man and Ginner of the Year Awards Mr. Roberson then focused the spotlight on his employees to whom he attributed full credit for the success the Coop has achieved through their dedication and hard work.
Store Employees are: Terry Peck- Store Manager, Andrew Willioughby, Matthew Montoya, Belle Kelley, and Jimmy Williams.
Shop Employees include: Joe Smith- Shop Manager, David Jimenez, Joe Vargas, Ricardo Garcia, Matthew Paredez, Dustin Rosa, and Brandon Carrizales.
In trucking: Alarick Hernandez, Cory Been, Clifford Conley, RD Gass, Brent Been and Justin Sanchez.
Business Office: Tara Provence, Tracy Provence, Karen Smith, and Karla Been; Agronomy: Justin Bellar- Manager, Grayson Polvado, Mike Ramey, Tim Rodriguez, Michael Bryant, and Greg Thorn.
Ginning: Duncan Welch- Plant Operations Mgr., Clyde Conley, Kaci Coats, Chon Zapata, Jose Mendez, Mary Wallace, Manuel Rios, Gilbert Zapata, and Jaime Avila.
Insurance: David McGhee, Seth Sowder, Cheryl Sowder, Jenny Netherland, and Patty Zapata.
According to Mr. Roberson reported that this past growing season could be described in three Phrases: first phrase: “This could be the big one”; second phrase: “It’s Hot, and It’s Dry”; and the third phrase: “TPC was still profitable and paying a dividend!”
Members of the Board of Directors are: Bryan Baker- Board President, Ronnie Schroeder- Vice President and PYCO Delegate, Brent Nelson- Secretary/Treasurer and PCG Delegate, Freddie Maxwell PCCA and Compress Delegate, Kris Humphreys, Dale Demel, James Synatschk, Randy Gore, and Bryan Patterson are all Board Directors.
