Texas Primary Runoff set for May 26, Early voting starts May 18 - May 22

The Texas Primary Runoff Election is taking place on May 26, 2026. Early voting begins May 18 and lasts through May 22.

April 27 was the last day to register to vote in the runoff primaries, and the winners from this election will determine the individuals on the general election ballot in November. During primary elections, voters select nominees within the political party they registered for.

A few federal and state positions are on the ballot for respective political parties.

In Lamb County, the race for the Republican nominee for Pct. 4 County Commissioner remains between Steven McCain and Lee Logan. Republican voters residing within Littlefield Pct. 9, Amherst Pct. 10 and Sudan Pct. 11 will determine the nominee.

Early voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May 18 through May 21. On May 22, early voting hours will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The main location for early voting is the Lamb County Courthouse, County Clerk’s Office Room 103, 100 6th Drive, Littlefield, Texas 79339.

Polls are open on Election Day, May 26, from 7 a.m. to 7 pm. The following are polling locations for respective precincts.
