The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for the Spring Windbreak Tree and other plants sales.
There is a variety of trees and other plants available, but everyone interested is strongly encouraged to get orders in as quickly as possible to ensure the variety and quantity of the trees and plants are available.
The last day to submit an order is Friday, April 30, 2021.
Please contact Angela Sawyer at 806-392-3730, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, to arrange a time to pick up an order form from her at 201 E. 21st Street in Littlefield.
If there is a particular variety of tree, or plant, not listed on the order form, feel free to ask about it, since it can possibly be acquired from another nursery.
As in years past, a large portion of the funds go towards educating the youth about Soil & Water Conservation, as well as into the scholarships that are awarded yearly to Lamb County seniors.
