Susan Sandoval new Exten. Agent

Lamb County has a new Agri/ Life Extension Agent, Susan Sandoval, who comes to work in Littlefield from Olton, but was a life-long resident of Vidor, Texas, where she was a graduate ofVidor High School in 1996.

Susan began studying nursing at Lamar State College, but her parents became ill, so she stopped her studies and began seeing to their care until they passed away. She’s now been in Olton for the past four years.

Susan married Bruno Sandoval, a life-time Olton resident, on May 5th, 2020. Her husband is an RN, employed with The Dialysis Clinic in Plainview. Together, they are the proud parents of three children: Jas Villanueva, and Isla and Remy Sandoval.

When asked how she came to enter the Agricultural field of employment, she replied: “After my parents had both passed away, I became tired of just being at home. I saw there was a position open for an AgriLife Agent here in Littlefield, so it sounded interesting and I applied for it and here I am. I’m learning as I go.”

Susan, still a resident of Olton, is welcomed to Lamb County and Littlefield Community, and we all look forward to meeting you as we’re all out and about the area.
