The Sudan Community will be conducting its 30th Annual Sudan Memorial Service program at 10 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Sudan Cemetery, west of Sudan.
In case of bad weather, the program will be conducted in the Sudan High School Auditorium.
Sam Merryman will welcome the guests, and Mike Woods will offer the invocation.
VFW Post 2466 will present the Colors (flags).
The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Sam Merryman, and followed with the National Anthem by Kenneth Richards.
Patriotic Music will be played and some sung by Kenneth Richards.
The featured speaker will be Cam Caven.
The Sudan High School’s Bold Gold Band will play music selections.
Terry Wilson will offer the benediction, prior to the SHS Band’s Trumpet Section playing TAPS.
To end the program, VFW Post 2466 will retire the colors.
