It is a very old expression and at the bottom of it, there is a great truth. Even more than that it is part of what God placed in man when He create him. Without this we fall into a routine. Joel 2:28 says: “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions”.

The founder of K.F.C.’s dream became a reality and he was 84 years old when he opened his first restaurant. When he stopped dreaming, he began to die.

Dr. Billy Graham wrote his last book when he was 92 years old.

Abraham had his son Isaac at the age of 100, and Sarah his wife was 90. I do not know what age you are, but if you are alive, there is a purpose why God has you on this earth.

There is an expression that the apostle Paul says: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:1-14 The whole passage is very clear, but what catches my attention is the part that I underlined. It is true that we can focus a lot more on what we have done, right? Here Paul tells us not to focus too much on the past, there is nothing wrong on doing it, but we need to focus on what is ahead of us.

About 30 years ago I thought that when I reached an advanced age I would sit in a recliner and rest or watch television. If I had done it, it’s possible that I would not be in this earth anymore.

I bless you and remember: DO not stop dreaming.
