Nov. 3 early voting set for two places

Lamb County residents who have not registered to vote in the 2020 general elections, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, must be registered before the deadline,

Monday, Oct. 5, 2020.

Registration for voting in Lamb County is done during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Voter Registrar’s Office, on the first floor of the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield.

Early Voting locations

Early voting will not be done in the Lamb County Courthouse this year.

Early voting will be done this year in two places in Lamb County:

One will be in Littlefield in the Lamb County Ag and Community Center, (17 th Street and Hall Avenue / Highway 385); and the other in a new location in Olton at the Ag Pavilion, from Tuesday, Oct. 13 thru Friday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in those locations.

Voters in any of the Voting Precincts may vote early in either of the two Early Voting places.

The extended hours for early voting in those locations will be offered on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and 20, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to allow easier access to some voters because of the time element.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the local elections that are usually held in May, were rescheduled to beheld during the Nov. 3 general elections.
