Littlefield’s Rotary Club will be hosting the annual Administrative Professionals’ luncheon Wednesday, April 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church’s Ministry Activity Center (MAC).
Businesses are invited to honor their administrative personnel by nominating them, and having them attend the luncheon with their employers.
The deadline for submission of nominations for the award has been extended until 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, (from Friday, April 15,) to allow time for the award plaque to be made.
Mail nominations to: Attention of Kathy Shipp, Lamb County Electric Coop, 2415 Phelps Avenue, Littlefield, Texas, 79339; or drop them off to her at Lamb County Electric; or e-mail them to her at KSHIPP@LCEC.COOP
Tickets are now available, for $20 per person, from a Rotarian; or at First Federal Bank; or from Kathy Shipp at Lamb County Electric Cooperative. All proceeds will go to benefit Rotary functions that benefit the community.
Tickets will not be sold at the door.
The meal will consist of an array of potluck dishes – from vegetables, to meats, to salads, and a few desserts.
The guest speaker will be Sharon Maines, of News Channel 11, KCBD, Lubbock.
There will be a drawing from tickets for door prizes.
The highlight will be the honoring of the “Administrative Professional of the Year” when the announcement is made.
