Littlefield’s City Council will conduct a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the

City Council Chambers, 525 Phelps Avenue. They will be considering an 8-item agenda.

• Public Comments of All Agenda Items

• Introduction of New City Employees

• Consider the approval of the minutes of March 23rd meeting.

• Consider the approval of Monthly Departmental Reports: Police Dept.; Fire Dept.; EMS; Code Enforcement; Animal Control; Landfill; Water/Wastewater; Streets and Parks; Municipal Court; Monthly Financial and Quarterly Investment Reports; Sales Tax Collection; Property Tax Collection reports; LEDC A and B minutes, if Boards met.

• Consider and approve March expenses.

• Consider and approve the lease agreement renewal with Our Place for 305 Phelps Ave.

• Consider and Approve A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLEFIELD, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ACT AS THE CITY’S EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE CITY’S PARTICIPATION IN THE TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR WATER & WASTEWATER.

• If awarded, accept, and approve the Extraordinary Emergency Fund Grant that has been applied for by City of Littlefield EMS, issued by the Department of State Health Services Office of EMS & Trauma Systems for the Replacement of an Engine, Turbo, and all Associated Parts due to a Sudden Catastrophic Engine Failure.

• Consider and approve allocations of funds to replace equipment purchases for Solid Waste Collections and approve Budget Amendment.

• Consider and approve Allocation for Engineering for Park Plan for Aquatic Center.

• Consider and approve Special Meeting Date of May 6, 2021 at 6 p.m. for Oath of Office of Council Member District 3, Council Member District 4 and Mayor and other business.
