Lamb County has 36 active COVID-19 cases

Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has issued an update on the COVID-19 virus cases in Lamb County, as of Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 1, 2020.

He reports that, currrently, Lamb County has had a total of 241 recoveries, and 20 deaths. Those numbers are compared with last week’s report of 222 COVID-19 recoveries, and 19 deaths since the pandemic began in early spring.

He said the 20 reported deaths are not necesssarily listed as the cause of COVID-19 deaths, but they were or had been COVID positive at the time of death.

As of Tuesday, Sept. 1, Lamb County had 36 active cases, while there were 38 active cases last Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Currently there are three cases in Amherst; four in Earth; 23 in Littlefield; three in Olton; two in Springlake; and one in Sudan.
