Lamb Co. Library Announces New Activity Schedule

The Lamb County Library is kicking off August with several activities for children and families as the new school year begins.

The library kicked the month off with a Root Beer Float event on Thursday, Aug. 6. The event was open to the public and provided free root beer floats to attending families to celebrate the start of the new school year.

Throughout August, the South Plains Workforce Solutions’ Mobile Unit out of Lubbock will be available at the library on Mondays, Aug. 10–31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing community members with easy access to workforce resources and services.

The library will also hold its storytime and Crafts events on Aug. 20 and Aug. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The events are open to children of all ages and provide an opportunity for kids to enjoy stories while participating in creative activities. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Lamb County Library is encouraging residents to stay connected by following the library’s Facebook page, @LambCoLibrary, for future updates on upcoming programs and events.

All events are open to the community, with activities free to attend. For any questions, please call the Lambs County Library or visit their website for more information.
