Circumstances for which we complain makes all the difference, if they are healthy or not.

If we have physical pain, complaining is good, since it’s an alarm that our health is not good and it can help us.

We become concerned when a baby begins to cry, it’s the language they use to let us know that something is not right, even if the reason is that it is hungry.

Do not confuse complaining with calling something to their attention.

When Jesus was close to is death said: “ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He was not complaining here.

In the Bible there are many instances where we see complaining. I will only mention one that we find in the book of Numbers. The Israelites begin to complain because of some difficulties. Let’s see verse 14:2 “And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!”

Incredible how they forgot the many miracles that God made. Usually, complaining comes when we forget what we have received. It can even happen within the family.

With what I have shared, we have seen that complaining can be healthy or unhealthy. What can we do? The best advice is not to complain if we are angry.

I bless you, and meditate on this thought.
