After being closed for about three months due to illnesses, the Lamb Healthcare Center’s Auxiliary Gift Shop will be reopening on Monday, Oct. 18 th . The doors will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. atrium of the hospital.

Unfortunatly the Bake Sale and Bazaar will not be held this year, but area residents are invited to “go and check things out and shop early for Christmas items,” members of the Auxiliary encourage.

Through years past, the Auxiliary has purchased two recliner chairs for the IV room, four recliners for the Obstetrics room for waiting fathers, two centrifuges for the lab, a microscope for the lab, an electric breast pump for newborns, chairs in the education room, a vacuum cleaner for the house keeping department, and decorated the south waiting room and the IV Room (101).

They have also provided gift certificates for the “Employees of the Year”, and donated to student medical scholarships.

They have also supported and donated to other projects at the hospital, that have not been mentioned.
