Grand Jury returns 29 indictments

The Lamb County Grand Jury met Wednesday, Nov. 4, when they returned 29 indictments that were against individuals who had been arrested, prior to being indicted, for Judge Felix Klein’s 154th District Court.

Those in this report, are 13 individuals who were arrested before indictment, and some of them have more than one indictment.

There were 10 of those indicted that have not been arrested, and are not included in this report.

Indictments are listed here:

Michael Anthony Jones was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury.

Lonnie Kade Wilson was indicted on a charge of assault on employee / contractor Civil Commitment Facility.

Rickey Lynn Sawyer, indicted on Civil Commitment requirement.

Joseph John Moron received two indictments: the first for murder; and the second for tampering and fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.

Christina Maria Salcido received three indictments: Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle; Evading Arrest and Detention With a Vehicle; and Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant.

Esmerejildo Balderas IV received two indictments: Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1<1G; and Fraud Use of Posssession Identifying Info # items, 5.

Jessie Martinez also received two indictments: Theft of Firearm; and Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon.

Jessie Nicholas Longoria, was indicted on charge of Assault Family Household Member, With Previous Conviction.

Joseph Amolindo Apodaca received two indictments: Driving While Intoxicated, third or more; and Obstruction or Retaliation.

Johnathan Joe Ramirez was indicted for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1>1G.

Kevin Alvarado was indicted on a charge of Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1>=4G<200G

Marcelino David Garcia was indicted for Evading Arrest and Detention with Vehicle.

Nicholas Heath Ramirez was indicted for Possession Controlled Substance PG>=4G<400G
