The Golden Spread Classic Steer & Heifer Show will be held on June 26-27 at the Mallet Event Center and Arena.
The Golden Spread Classic began in 1985 and has been proudly hosted at the Mallet Event Center and Arena in Levelland since 2012. Held on the South Plains, this event provides 4-H and FFA members with the opportunity to showcase their beef cattle projects.
Cattle shows will kick off on Friday and run through Saturday morning. Judges for the show include Miles Toenyes and Blaine Rodgers.
Admission is free, and the public is invited to come out and support local youth as they present their cattle.

June 25
9 a. m. – Steers and Heifers begin arriving (no early arrivals) 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. – Prospect/ Progress Steers turn in weight and classify.
6 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Check Heifer papers.
June 26
9 a. m. – 9: 30 a. m.– Check in Mini Hereford Steers & Heifers.
9 a. m. – 10 a. m. – Check Heifer papers.
9:30 a.m. – Progress Steers weight turn-in and classification.
10 a.m. - Prospect Steers weight turn-in and classification.
1:30 p.m. – Mini Hereford Show; Heifer Show (American, English, European), Progress Steers Show (American, English , European)
