The public was invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Gebo’s location in the shopping center on Hwy 84 in Littlefield on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The event featured hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings provided by the Lamb County 4-H as a fundraiser for the county’s 4-H youth. Gebo’s will generously match the funds raised by the 4-H youth.

Gebo’s also held a raffle for a rifle, and a shotgun as well as two other valuable gift cards. Winners had the option to opt for a gift card if they so chose. Winners of the raffle were Rob Gronewald, Jeremy Newton, Chris Gerik, and Margaret Jephcott.

The new store is located in the building that last housed the Shopko store several years ago. The interior was totally refurbished to accommodate Gebo’s needs. Improvements include three new spacious dressing rooms for the customers use.

The new Gebo’s store still has the “sitting area” right up front where customers may just sit and visit while enjoying some popcorn. Customers can rest assured the candy shelves are still featured and easier to access than at the old location on Hall Ave.

The new gun shop is a secure and beautiful space inside the main store. Texas Parks & Wildlife Law Enforcement was on hand to inspect the new facility and answer questions.

Customers will have a much easier time finding the items they need whether it’s garden needs, tools, livestock feeds and medicines, tack, pet supplies and food, lawn care needs, clothing and gifts in the spacious well-organized store.
