The Diocese of Lubbock is hosting a Catholic Engaged Encounter weekend retreat starting Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022.
The three-day retreat will be held at the Mercy Retreat Center, located at 605 S 19th St., Slaton. Catholic Engaged Encounter helps engaged couples prepare for their lives together as husband and wife.
This retreat will help enable couples to pursue a comprehensive, private and personal marriage preparation experience within the context of Christian faith and values. While the program is Catholic in origin, engaged couples of any faith wishing to prepare for a deeper, more meaningful marriage are welcome.
