The ranch rodeo is sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association. Ranch rodeos are held in other communities including Haskell, Roaring Springs and Alpine; Fort Sumner, NM; Hugo and Lamar, Co., Amarillo, Waurika and Claremore, Ok, Camp Verde, AZ, and in Kansas and Nebraska. Those competing are seeking cash prizes as well as points to advance to the world championship which will be held in Amarillo in November.

There will also be a junior ranch rodeo for youngsters 16 and under which will be held at 2 p.m. The junior events will include sorting, doctoring, trailer loading, branding and steer riding. Contact Tripp Townsend at (806) 647-6149 for more information.

Concessions will be available at each performance.
