Early voting starts Monday

Early voting for the eight Constitutitional Amendments for the special Nov. 2 election in Texas, will begin Monday, Oct. 13, in the Lamb County Clerk’s office in the Lamb County Courthouse.

Early voting at the Lamb County Clerk’s office is schedule as fol lows:

Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 18 and 19: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20: 7 a.m. to 7

Wednesday, Oct. 20: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Only Day Open Early and Late!

Thursday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Oct. 29: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On election day, Nov. 2, polling places are as follows:

Precincts 1 and 5: Lamb County Activities Building (Lion’s Club) in Olton

Precincts 3 and 12: Earth Community Center in Earth.

Precincts 4 and 11: Sudan Community Center in Sudan.

Precincts 2, 6, 7/8 and 9: Lamb County Ag Center in Littlefield.

Precinct 10: Amherst City Hall in Amherst.

Every Texan will have a chance to decide on eight amendments to the Texas Constitution, addressing issues of eligibility of judicial candidates, homestead tax exemptions for surviving spouses and ballot measures proposed in response to pandemic-related restrictions on worship services and nursing homes.
