Early voting begins Monday for Anton, Earth, S-E School

Early voting for only two Lamb County area cities, Anton and Earth, and one school district, Springlake-Earth ISD, will begin on Monday, April 19 through April 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 1 to 5 p.m.

The 12-hour-days for early voting are April 26 and 27 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

City of Anton

Five candidates are seeking to fill the three seats that will be filled on the Anton City’s Council. On their election ballot in this order, are Denny Williamson, Michael Salsman, Nicky Jezisek, and Incumbent, Clayton Hubble, and Incumbent, Garland Cooper. Early voting in Anton will be conducted April 19 thru 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Anton City Hall. The two 12- hour days, April 26 and 27 , will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 8 p.m., will allow voters to go early or late.

Voting on election day, Saturday, May 1, will be done at the school building. City of Earth

Five candidates are seeking to fill three seats on the Earth City Council.

On the ballot in this order, are Tony Jones, Michael Mosqueda, Sayre Tovar, Jennifer Contreras Acosta, and Jesse Garcia III. Early voting will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Earth City Hall from April 19 to April 27. The two 12-hour days of early voting will be April 20 and 27, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Springlake-Earth ISD is the only school that will be conducting an election.

Early voting will be done in the Springlake-Earth Superintendent’s office at the school, while voting on election day, May 1, will be in the Earth City Hall.

Five candidates are seeking to fill three seats on the Springlake-Earth School Bpoard of Trustees.

On their ballot, in this order, are Jason Mosqueda, Ray Castillo, Si Beerwinkk;e. Tanya Stevenson, and Rosalia Saenz.
