EARLY RISERS MEETING

EARLY RISERS MEETING — This morning, Tuesday, Feb. 9, Rachel Soria and Mark Gonzales of Communities in Schools (CIS) spoke with the Early Risers Lions Club about the services they provide LISD students to make sure they have all the resources they need to be successful; this can include food, clothing, academic help and beyond. The club is working closely with them to provide eye glasses to students in need at any LISD campus. Lions Club’s all over the world have been providing eye glasses for almost 100 years and our local club seeks to continue the mission. Mark (left) is at the junior high campus, Rachel (center) is at the high school and Jasmin Rodriquez (not pictured) covers the elementary and primary schools.
