COVID-19 Update

Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has issued an update on the COVID-19 virus cases in Lamb County, as of Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2020.

He reports that Lamb County currrently has 21 active cases, and there are 278 who have recovered, and 21 deaths.

Only three Lamb County cities still have cases of the COVID-19 virus. Amherst now has only one case, while Littlefield has 13, and Olton has seven. There are no cases reported in Earth, Springlake and Sudan.

Last Tuesday, there were two cases in Amherst; none in Earth; 16 in Littlefield; eight in Olton; none in Springlake; and two in Sudan.

Judge DeLoach explained that the 21 reported deaths are not necesssarily listed as the cause of COVID-19 deaths, but they were or had been COVID positive at the time of death.
