COVID-19 cases are now increasing

Lamb County Judge James DeLoach reports that there are now 235 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, in Lamb County. That number is increased by 41 from the 194 active cases in the county, that were reported last Tuesday, Nov. 17.

There have now been 776 who have recovered since the pandemic began, while last week, on Nov. 17, there had been 680 recoveries.

The death toll is still at 27, which is up by one from the 26 that were reported for several weeks before Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Current reports for each of the Lamb County Communities indude:

Amherst, 15, increase of five from last week’s 10 cases; Earth, 25, an increase of seven from last week’s 18 cases; Littlefield, 158, up from 130 cases, a week ago; Olton, 16, down from last week’s 18 cases; Spade, still only one case, that was reported last week; Springlake, no cases, which is still where it was last week; and Sudan, 20, up five from last week’s reported 15 cases.
