Motion to Dismiss

On Monday, July 3, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Isaiah Jesse Gonzales, for the reason: “the Defendant has entered into a pre-trial diversion/ intervention agreement.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 03rd day of July, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

Discharging Supervision

On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Maximo Martinez, the judge’s response was: “On this the 5th day of July 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Maximo Martinez, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 6th day of July, 2021, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=0.15, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of two (2) years; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled; “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Maximo Martinez, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”

Waiver of Jury Trial

On July 3, 2023, Ismael Garcia Jr., entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Assault Causes Bodily Inj, that occurred on Dec. 25, 2021.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 15 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was given two days of total jail time credit.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On July 3, 2023, Amber Nicole Owen, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which she was convicted: Poss Marj <2oz DFZ IAT 481.121, that occurred on Nov. 8, 2022.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail.

She is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On July 3, 2023, Joseph Brett Hurley, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Criminal Trespass, that occurred on May 27, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 20 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was given 40 days of total jail time credit.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350.

On July 3, 2023, Derick Elijah Rodgers, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Unl Carrying Weapon, that occurred on March 23, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 60 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended, and defendant was place on community supervision for one year.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On June 28, 2023, Shawn Brian Hall Jr., entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Crim Trespass Habit/Shltr/ Suprfund/Infstrt, that occurred on Feb. 22, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was given 120 days of total jail time credit.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350.

On June 28, 2023, Darius Jerrell Moore, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Unl Carrying Weapon, that occurred on Jan. 6, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was given a fine only.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and a fine in the amount of $500.

On June 14, 2023, Brad Bussey, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Racing on Highway, that occurred on April 28, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended, and the defendant was placed on community supervision for one year.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Fines in the amount of $550.
