WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL

On May 16, 2023, Jorge Gonzalez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Duty on striking unattended vehicle, that occurred on Nov. 22, 2021.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 100 days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was given 198 days of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fines and costs.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $150 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On May 8, 2023, Rene Mendez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated, that occurred on Oct. 3, 2021.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on Community Supervision for two years.

He is ordered to pay Fines in the amount of $500 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On April 26, 2023, Javon Darr Roberts, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Evading Arrest Detention, that occurred on April 9, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 60 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on community supervision for two years.

She is ordered to pay Restitution in the amount of $60, Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Fines in the amount of $2,100.

On May 1, 2023, Daniel Guadalupe Melendez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Viol bond/protective order, that occurred on April 2, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on community supervision for two years. This sentence shall run concurrent with CCR-18097.

On May 1, 2023, Daniel Guadalupe Melendez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Viol bond/protective order, that occurred on April 4, 2023. The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on community supervision for two years. This sentence shall run concurrent with CCR-18096.

He is ordered to pay Fines in the amount of $700 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On May 1, 2023, Raymundo Longoria-Carrillo, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated, that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on community supervision for two years.

He is ordered to pay Fines in the amount of $500 and Court Costs in the amount of 270.

MOTION TO DISMISS

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Jorge Gonzales, for the reason: “Plea Bargain – plea in DCR-62112-22 with punishment assessed.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 16th day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Anthony G Fabila, for the reason: “Other – The Defendant paid the balance owed to the County Clerk.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 2nd day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that said Motion to Revoke Community Supervision be and the same is hereby DISMISSED.

On Tuesday, April 24, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Peter Arguijo, for the reason: “Restitution has been paid in full.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 24th day of April, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby DISMISSED.

On Monday, May 1, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Juan Carlos Salas Ontiveros, for the reason: “it best serves the interests of justice; and request of complainant.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 01st day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby DISMISSED.

On Wensday, May 3, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Tonya Jean Nance, for the reason: “Plea Bargain – plea in another case/count: DCR6139-21 and DCR-6140-21.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 03rd day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby DISMISSED.

On Monday, May 1, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Dustin Michael Svendson, for the reason: “The Defendant has entered into a pre-trial diversion/intervention agreement.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 01st day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby DISMISSED.

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Pedro Vasquez Florentino, for the reason: “Defendant deceased.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 2nd day of May, A.D. 2023, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby DISMISSED. DISCHARGING SUPERVISION

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Luis E Haros-Ontiveros, the judge’s response was: “On this the 2nd day of May 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Luis E Haros-Ontiveros, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 4th day of May, 2021, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Driving While Intoxicated, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of eighteen (18) months; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled: “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Luis E Haros-Ontiveros, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Cliffton Leon Barrett, the judge’s response was: “On this the 2nd day of May 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Cliffton Leon Barrett, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 4th day of May, 2021, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=0.15, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of two (2) years; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled: “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Cliffton Leon Barrett, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”
