Orders of Deferred Adjudication

On Sept. 14, 2020, Thomas James Collins entered a guilty plea to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <1G, and was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for two years.

He also has to pay a fine of $750, $180 in restitution to DPS, Rest., and Acct in Austin.; and $290 court costs.

On Sept. 16, 2020, Alton Warren Ham, Jr. entered a guilty plea to the offense of aggravated assault causes serious bodily injuries, a third degree felony, and placed on a period of Deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for six years.

He is also to pay $290 for court costs, and pay $272 in restitution to Lubbock Diagnostic Radiology; and $1,628 in restitution to Concord Medical Group of Texas.

On Oct. 7, 2020, Chance Nathanael Bridges entered a guilty plea to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 <1G, a state jail felony. He was placed on a period of Deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for three years.

He is also to pay $290 court costs, $750 fines, and $180 of restitution to DPS, Rest. And Act in Austin.

Judgment of Conviction by Lamb County Court—Waiver of Jury Trials

On Sept. 3, 2020, Alejandro Manuel Montalvo entered a guilty plea to the offense of Theft of Property<$ 2,500, with two previous convictions, a state jail felony. His sentence of confinement of 24 months in TDCJ, CID – State Jail, was suspended, and the defendant was placed on community supervision for four years. He has 36 days of total jail time credit served. He is also to pay $290 court costs; $1,000 in fines; and restitution in the amount of $47,99 to Pizza Hut.

On Sept. 30, Stephanie Marie Paez entered a guilty plea to Driving While Intoxicated. She was sentenced to three days in the Lamb County Jail. She had total jail time credit from Jan. 26 thru Jan. 29, 2020 in the county jail. She is to pay a $1,000 fine, and is to pay $452.10 court costs.

James Wesley Mikel entered a guilty plea on Oct. 7, 2020, to the offense of Possession of Marijuana >5 lbs<=50 lbs, a third degree felony offense. He already has 278 days of total jail time credit.

He began serving four years in TDCJ, Correctional Institutions Division, on Oct. 7, 2020; and is to pay $290 court costs.

On Oct. 28, Edward Jimenez, Jr. entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member. He was sentenced to two days in the Lamb County Jail, and is to pay $282 court costs, and a $500 fine.

On Oct. 29, Johnny Flores Tanguma entered a guilty plea to the offense of Driving While Intoxicated. His sentence of 30 days in the Lamb County Jail was suspended, and the defentant was placed on community supervision for two years. He is also to pay a $500 fine, and court costs in the amount of $482.10.

Orders of Dismissal

On Sept. 14, after hearing and considering a motion from the Lamb County District Attorney to dismiss the application to proceed to judgment on Chance Nathanael Bridges, on the grounds that the defendant pled guilty to his case, and received punishment, the judge ordered, adjudged, and decreed that the cause be dismissed and Chace Nathanael Bridges be discharged.

On Sept. 28, 2020, an order of dismissal was ordered, adjudged, and decreed by the court that the cause against Vincente Rolando Mesa be dismissedd and that he be discharged.

On Oct. 1, 2020, an order of dismissal was ordered, adjudged and decreed by the court that the cause against Martin Roland Vasquez-Martinez be dismissed, and that he be discharged.

On Nov. 5, an order of dismissal on deferred adjudication on Lina Diane Henson, was approved, since she has successfully completed the term of probation ordered by the court, that the cause be dismissed and the defendant be discharged.

On Nov. 9, 2020, a request from the District Attorney that the cause against Joella Magdalena Conway be dismissed, on the grounds that the Pre-Trial Contract has been successfully completed. The court granted the motion and ordered, adjudged, and decreed that the court dismiss the cause against the defendant be dismissed and that she be discharged.
