County seeing less active COVID-19 cases

Lamb County Judge James Mike DeLoach has reported the numbers of COVID-19 cases in Lamb County, as of 11:41 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021.

The number of recoveries is now at a total of 1,375, which is up from the 1,309, who had recovered by last Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.

There are still 38 deaths being reported, with no additions being reported the past few weeks.

There are now only 11 active cases in the county, which is decreased from the 40 cases that were reported as active a week ago.

The Amherst community is reporting only one case, which is decreased from the seven cases reported last week.

Earth still has one case, which is the same as was reported last Tuesday.

Littlefield is reporting only six cases, which is a very good drop from the 29 cases reported last Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.

Olton is still reporting only two cases, which shows there was no increase, or no decrease in its number of cases.

The Spade Community is still free of any cases, which was reported last week.

Sudan’s cases had fallen to no cases reported last week, but now, is back up to one within this past week.

Springlake had one case reported last week, but now has none, as of the Jan. 5 report.
