When one is in production about a journey in a country music career, traveling to the home-town of legendary country star Waylon Jennings to film is pretty much a necessary element for the project. Country music artists Charley Crockett and Dallas Burrow along with the film crew of Texas based Rock and Fire Studios were in Littlefield to do just that.

Despite the cold, Director/Producer, Jared Christopher of Rock and Fire Studios spent hours creating film footage for an upcoming film project. One scene features James Jennings, the brother and owner of the Waylon Jennings museum located at Waymore’s in Littlefield.

Charley Crockett was born in San Benito, Texas, raised in Dallas and New Orleans, and began his career learning the ropes busking on the streets of Nashville and later New Orleans. He has been featured in Rolling-Stone magazine, and on The Daily Show. He has sung with the Red- Headed Stranger, Willie Nelson. He has also toured overseas.

Dallas Burrows, also a native Texan born in New Braunfels, is another up and coming country artist who is touring Texas. When asked his part of the film’s production, he simply grinned and stated, “Oh I’m pretty much along for the ride.” Nevertheless, he performed a song privately for James and Helen Jennings.
