Commissioners hold regular meeting

Lamb County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Monday at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield.

County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order and there was nobody present for public comment.

Five Consent Agenda items were considerd first, in a combined vote of approval:

Minutes from the Jan. 11, 2021 were approved as presented. There were no line-item transfers made to the budget.

Gina Jones, County Auditor, presented bills; Jerry Yarbrough presented payroll and the departmental reports were given to each commissioner in a packet.

The motion was made by Commissioner Danny Short and seconded by Commissioner Lee Logan to approve the Consent agenda items. The motion carried.

The Commissioners took action on Soil Conservation Work in Precinct three. The motion was made by Short and seconded by Commissioner Kent Lewis to approve action on Soil Conservation Work in Precinct three. The motion carried.

The Commissioners her a proposal for Pilot Upload Data & Images for Document Pro for County Clerk’s Office. No action was taken.

The Commissioners also received Sealed Bids to replace roof on Courthouse. No action was taken at this time. A special Commissioner’s Court took was scheduled and took place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11 a.m in order to thoroughly discuss all bids and contracts.

Future agenda items were discussed and the meeting was adj ourned.
