Two cousins, who are U.S. Air Force Airmen, graduated from basic military training at joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

U.S. Air Force Airman Sevyn J. Blackman graduated on Thursday, March 18, 2021; and his cousin, U.S. Air Force Airman Koby L. Trotter completed his basic military training at the same air base, and graduated on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

The two airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits to ward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman Blackman is the son of Jeremy and Amanda Blackman of Blooming Grove, Tx. His grandparents are Kenny and Vivian Trotter and Ron and Carla Medeiros, all of Littlefield.

Airman Trotter is the son of Kasey Trotter of Littlefield and Crystal Munoz of Andrews. His grandparents are Kenny and Vivian Trotter, and David Doty, all of Littlefield. His great-grand-mother, June Smith, is also of Littlefield.
