The Littlefield Area Junior Livestock Show and Sale is now history for 2022, and a total of 213 animals were exhibited by 4-H and FFA members of Amherst, Littlefield and Sudan, for the judges Thursday and Friday.

The auction sale was conducted Saturday afternoon, fol lowing a boxed meal that was served to the buyers and donors, before the auction sale Saturday afternoon.

Thursday afternoon, eight dairy heifers, 15 other heifers, and 16 steers were judged, and Friday afternoon, there were 44 Goats, 16 Lambs and 114 pigs exhibited for the judges.

Judging the Dairy heifers was John Kisst of Amarillo, then Zachary Wagoner of Pearland judged the beef heifers and steers Thursday.

Judging the goats, lambs and swine Friday, was Cameron Knight of Shallowater.

The Grand Champion Goat was exhibited by Kooper Edwards of Sudan, who also received the Junior Showmanship Award buckle.

The Reserve Grand Champion Goat was shown by Kyndal Edwards of Sudan.

The Senior Goat Showmanship Award Buckle was presented to Kauy Carr of Sudan.

The Grand Champion Lamb was a Hampshire, shown by Kyndal Edwards of Sudan; while the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb was a Shouthdown, exhibited by Kooper Edwards of Sudan.

Kooper received the lamb showmanship award; and later his sister, Kyndal was presented the Senior Lamb showmanship award.

For the Swine Division, the Grand Champion pig was shown by Rylan Brashear of Sudan FFA; and the Reserve Grand Champpion pig was exhibited by Zayne Humphreys of Sudan FFA.

Winning the Junior Swine Showmanship Award was Lynnlee Brashear of the Sudan FFA; and later, the Senior Swine Showmanship Award was won by Landree Gonzales.
