2021 Auxin Specific Certification Trainings

There are several opportunities to complete the Auxin Specific Certification Training for the 2021 growing season. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service — Lubbock is planning five (5) virtual zoom trainings starting TODAY, Friday, January 22, 2021.

With the exception of the first training beginning earlier today, all subsequent trainings will take place on the second Friday of the month (February 12, March 12, April 9, May 14 — Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend). All trainings will start at 9 AM and last 1 hour.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-College Station will be posting information on an online module training in the coming weeks on the AgriLife Online Courses website: agrilifelearn.tamu.edu.

Trainings delivered by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will satisfy both the US EPA requirement for mandatory dicamba training as well as the Texas Department of Agriculture requirement for approved dicamba and 2,4-D formulations.

Industry-sponsored training also are available that began this past week and can be found on their individual websites. Syngenta has dicamba webinar trainings (https://syngenta.zoom.us/ webinar/register/WN_BgoSQ3-JR6y9n_3sUlwsdQ).

BASF has scheduled an online module, live webinars, and inperson trainings, to view which time works best for you, visit: https://www. engeniaherbicide.com/ training.html.

Bayer started live-webinar trainings this past week as well that will occur weekly through March and can be found at https:/ /www.roundupreadyxtend.com/ stewardship/Pages/default.aspx.

All industry-sponsored dicamba trainings satisfy the US EPA requirement for mandatory dicamba training.
