Body

Lamb County youngsters from Amherst, Littlefield, Olton, Springlake-Earth and Sudan, brought a total of 201 animals to the Lamb County Junior Livestock Show in the Lamb County Ag and Community Center, that were judged Saturday, Jan. 8.

Judging most of the animals was Austin Voyles of Canyon, while the Dairy Heifers were judged by K.R. Averhoff.

There were 42 market goats. 18 Lambs, 101 pigs in the Swine show, 23 Beef Heifers, 9 Beef Steers, and 8 Dairy Heifers that went before the judges.

SHOWMANSHIP HONORS

Sam Hill of Littlefield won the Goat Showmanship buckle; Braileigh Goe of Springlake-Earth won the Lamb Showmanship buckle; Brindle Harper of Littlefield was presented the Swine Showmanship buckle; and Braelyn Pointer of Sudan received the Beef Showmanship buckle for the beef heifers and steers.
