Because some positive testers are closely involved with the High School football teams, the 8th grade football team, and the High School Volleyball teams, all students involved in those activities are quarantined until Friday, October 23. Additionally, all other athletic activities are suspended until October 23. There will be no Football or Volleyball games during this time span. All individuals who are required to quarantine have been notified. Students who have not been notified that they must quarantine should be in attendance.

LISD is continuing to deeply sanitize, and all District employees and students are instructed to continue to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations and to practice social distancing. Therefore, we feel that it is safe for students who are not specifically quarantined to continue to attend school in person.

Out of an abundance of caution, we advise you to monitor your health, follow the CDC guidelines for people who have had close contact and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms.

Littlefield ISD is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide additional information as needed. We hope for a successful recovery for anyone infected with the COVID virus.
