Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has issued an update on the COVID-19 virus cases in Lamb County, as of Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 8, 2020.
He reports that, currrently, Lamb County has had a total of 261 recoveries, and 20 deaths. Those numbers are compared with last week’s report of 241 COVID-19 recoveries, and 20 deaths since the pandemic began in early spring.
He said the 20 reported deaths are not necesssarily listed as the cause of COVID-19 deaths, but they were or had been COVID positive at the time of death.
As of Tuesday, Sept. 8, Lamb County had 28 active cases, while there were 36 active cases last Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Currently there are two cases in Amherst; none in Earth; 16 in Littlefield; eight in Olton; none in Springlake; and two in Sudan.
