LHC ‘Team Builders’ seeking donations for annual ‘Safe Halloween’

Lamb Healthcare Center “Team Builders” will be hosting its 11th annual “Safe Halloween” Trunk or Treat Halloween on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, from 5 to 6 p.m. or until all candy and treats have been given out. The event will take place on the north parking lot in front of the hospital.

Trick-or-Treat at Arbor Grace

Arbor Grace Wellness Center is asking for candy donations, so their residents can treat the treaters. Please have the donations turned in by Oct. 23rd. Trick-ortreaters can come by to get candy on Oct. 31st starting at 6:30 p.m.

County Library needs all kind of book donations

The Lamb County Library needs more books, and graciously accepts all kinds of book donations. No appointment is needed. Books can be dropped off in the library’s drop box on the east side of the library, located at 110 E. 6th Street.

Local Students Named to Dean’s Honor Roll at ACU for Spring 2023

Abilene Christian University congratulates Dean’s Honor Roll students for the Spring 2023 semester. Students earn Dean’s Honor Roll recognition by achieving a 3.6 or higher GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

41st Annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds is scheduled this week June 15th-17th

The 41st annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds junior heifer and steer show will be held June 15, 16 and 17 at the Ollie Liner Center, Plainview, TX. The barn opens at 12 noon Thursday for arrival of heifers and steers. All Mini breeds must be checked in on Thursday. Showmanship entries close at 6 p.m.

Littlefield Day Camp set for June 20-21, register by June 9
