The Rotary Club of Littlefield hosted a regular meeting on April 16, 2026.
Rotary Club President Bree Clark called the meeting to order by ringing the Rotary bell. Clark called on Rotarian Lupe Rodriguez to lead the club in the Pledge of Allegiance, on Judge James DeLoach to lead the club in prayer and on Violet Lopez to lead the 4-way test.
Lori Zinn and Lupe Rodriguez provided a final update and reminder about the Professional Luncheon Event happening on April 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Lamb County Ag Center. Tickets are $20, and door prizes will be raffled.
An anonymous committee has selected the recipient of the Administration Assistant of the Year award. Their family was notified to attend the luncheon free of cost.
President Clark asked Rotarians to consider sponsoring four students wishing to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. The nominated students are Jayden Barrio, CJ Weaver, Rhealee Golden and Ky Hays.
With a motion from Dezi Vargas seconded by Violet Lopez, the club unanimously approved the sponsorship.
New Rotary Club members, Valarie Newton and Matt Allison, were inducted into the organization by President Clark. Rotarians Vargas and Rodriguez were their sponsors.
Clark adjourned the meeting by ringing the Rotary Bell.
