Lovett-Young Double Ring Wedding vows exchanged

Double ring wedding vows were exchanged Sunday, July 17, 2022 between Shelton Lee Lovett and Brookelyn Ann Young at the Horse Shoe Knot in Lubbock.

The parents of the bride are Kelly and Amy Young of Spade. Parents of the groom are Lonnieand Samantha Lovett of Bushland. Grandparents of the bride are Larry and Judy Stanley or Littlefield and Jimmy Young of Amherst. Grandparents of the groom are Lou Lovett of Bushland and Maxine Spiker of Amarillo. Justin Heaton of Ama-rillo officiated the ceremony.

The maid of honor was Madison Young of Spade, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Breanna Roebuck of Lubbock, cousin of the bride. Best man was Duane Sanders of Amarillo. Groomsman was Greg Nichols of Amarillo. Flower girls were Sophia Shockley and Olivia Shockley of Elk City, OK., cousins of the bride. Also, Adriana Nichols and Kaitlin Nichols of Amarillo, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Elliot Lynch and Landon Lynch of Elk City, OK., cousins of the bride.

While pictures were being taken the guests were treated to a coke float bar. After the ceremony, a fajita meal and salsa bar was served. A three-tier cake adorned with burgundy roses was served at the brides table. Fruit punch was served out of the brides greatgrandmothers punch bowl. A strawberry cake with a silhouette of a roping cowboy was served from the grooms table.

The wedding was coordinated by Lynnsey Lynch, cousin of the bride. Pictures were taken by Kayla Jade Photography of Elk City, OK., cousin of the bride. Brides bouquet and flowers adorning the gazebo, where the ceremony was performed, were arranged by Lynnsey Lynch, and Kayla Garcia of Elk City, OK., cousins of the bride.

DJ services by Mel and Patti Evans of Amarillo, friends of the bride. The couple had a sparkler exit after the reception! After a trip to Angel Fire N.M. the couple is at home in the Spade area.
