Antique Tractor show set for Oct. 14th-15th

The South Plains Antique Tractor Association will host the 20th annual Antique Tractor and Engine Show on Friday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the FiberMax Center for Discovery, located at East Broadway and Canyon Lakes Dr. in Lubbock.

Admission is free and donations are accepted. There will be 60 to 80 antique tractors on exhibit. There will also be a raffle for an antique toy Peddle Tractor, which will be raffled on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. There will be food vendors and ice cream.

The next community prayer meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 E. 12th Street in Littlefield.

Pastor Coleman will host the meeting.

An invitation is extended to everyone from all churches to gather and participate in prayer for all needs and concerns that will be identified.

The mission for the club is to preserve the history of agriculture, educate future generations about the heritage and progress of agriculture and provide fellowship and education to those interested in the history and collection of antique tractors, engines and equipment.
