Celebrate Oktoberfest with us in Slaton! After a 2-year hiatus – THE BIG SUNDAY SAUSAGE DINNER is back! The original German family sausage recipe is still used and will be complemented by the best grilled chicken on the South Plains. Add authentic German Potato Salad and all the trimmings plus Homemade desserts and you’ll have a meal fit for a King.
The whole weekend will bustle with activity. Official Ocktoberfest begins at 11 on Saturday but if you want to buy bulk signature sausage – be there earlyunless you already ordered online!!! Live music all day, German beer, and activities will thrill the youngest to the oldest.

Saint Joseph Sausage Festival, Sunday, Oct. 16 – Dinner is served from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Saint Joseph Hall - 21st & Division (FM 41) Menu: St. Joseph German sausage, Knights of Columbus Council 2571 grilled chicken, homemade German potato salad, green beans, bread, sauerkraut, and dessert.
Plates are $15. Take-out plates available; everyone enters through the south side door!
Biergarten, Sunday, Oct. 16 – 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Enjoy traditional German music under the “big tent” or in the Biergarten with German beer and food!
