In Loving Memory Of LeeRoy Rosemond, Sr.

LeeRoy Rosemond, Sr., 69, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield, Texas. He was born to the late Mr. Lawrence, Sr. and Maenishie Young Rosemond on November 16, 1954 in Muleshoe, Texas.

He was a member of NJBC, where he served as an usher. He was a jack of all trades. He worked at American Cotton Growers, City of Littlefield, and Bio Diesel. He was sharp, easy going, private, and minded his business. LeeRoy and Della enjoyed watching westerns, and he knew the script of every episode of Andy Griffith.

He is proceeded in death by his step-daughter, Sharalyn Michele Rosemond; father, Mr. Lawrence Rosemond, Sr.; mother, Maenishie Young Rosemond; five sisters, Rosel Randle, Princella "Mama Na" Dancer, Geneva "Smoot" Simmons, Dorothy "June" Tubbs, Celestine "Sue" Williams; and four brothers, Vernell Kemp, Sr., Lawrence "Man" Rosemond, Jr., Waymond "Son" Rosemond, and Raymond "Sweet Papa" Rosemond.

He leaves behind to mourn and cherish his precious memories are soulmate, Della Williams; daughters, Erma Scott (David) and Chwenequa (April) Williams; son, LeeRoy Rosemond, Jr. (Rhonda); grandchildren, Kaison Baker, and Trent Fluellen; great grandchildren, Trentity, Alyla, Sienna and Thaddeus Fluellen; one sister, Vella D. Pinkston of Fort Worth, Texas; two sister in-laws, Betty Jo Kemp and Patricia Rosemond; two brothers, David Rosemond, Sr., and Johnny Rosemond, both of Littlefield, Texas; two aunts, Exlee Mosley of Littlefield, Texas, and Mae Helen of Cameron, Texas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Services for Leroy were held Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2024 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Littlefield. Interment followed in Littlefield Cemetery. Arrangements were under the personal care of McCarty Funeral Home.
