In Loving Memory Of Felix Salinas, Sr.

Felix Salinas, Sr., 63, of Littlefield went to be with his Lord, January 27, 2022. He was born July 19,1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Eleazar Salinas and Bernarda Gonzalez Salinas.

Felix married Nancy Montes in 1985. He was a farmer and later worked at the Serenity Center and he truly enjoyed helping recovering addicts with their journey of recovery. He was one of a kind, had a great personality, was a jokester and loved making others laugh and smile. He was an avid reader, and intelligent man who was well versed in his vocabulary, especially long words he liked to use in conversation. He enjoyed dancing, singing, loved listening to music. He especially loved classic country and classic rock, which he introduced to his younger sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, and shared his appreciation for the old artists with them. Most of all, he loved his family, spending time with them and being a ‘Popo’.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Salinas of Littlefield; a daughter, Precious Solidad Salinas of Plainview; four sons, Felix Salinas, Jr. and wife, Lai of Hawaii, Eleazar Salinas of Littlefield, Joe Angel Salinas of Littlefield and Felix Salinas of Littlefield; seven grandchildren; a sister, Soledad Salinas of Normanna, Texas; a brother, Eloy Salinas of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jaine Salinas Martinez and Rita Kissling; and four brothers, George Sanchez, Joe Salinas, Eleazar Salinas, Jr., and Frank Salinas.

Funeral services were held at 10 am, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Trinity Church in Littlefield with Pastor Billy Montes officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Eleazar Salinas, Joe Angel Salinas, Erny Montes, David Montes, Raul Montes and Vince Montes, Jr. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
