Eldon M. West, age 85, passed away on July 28, 2021 at a care center in Colleyville. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, July 31, 2021 at the Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield. Service were under the direction of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Idalou.
Eldon West was born Aug 31, 1935 to Charlie and LuRue West in Sudan, TX. After graduating high school, he went to Eastern New Mexico and played football for 3 years. He was a member of the Bible chair directed by Steve Echstein. After college he began working at Jc Penney in Littlefield. He later decided to go into farming. In July of 1963 he married Dorothy. Together they raised 2 daughters Sandra Kaye and Kelley Diane. He was a Deacon at Crescent Park.
