Angela Quay (Dayton) Purdy, 71, of Littlefield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025 in Lubbock, TX. She was born June 17, 1953 in Roswell, NM to William Warren Dayton and Francine Billington Dayton.
Angela, aka Angie, graduated from Littlefield High School with the class of 1971. Angie married Gary Purdy on May 28, 1970 in Littlefield. Other than fulfilling her life passion of being a stay-athome mom, she helped her husband’s business, Purdy Machine, for many years. She also later worked at Ware’s, White Kitchen, First National Bank, and Aim Bank. She enjoyed watching shows and movies, along with listening to music and playing games.
She is survived by her two daughters; a son; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with Pastor Allen Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in Littlefield Cemetery.
