Taronna Faye Moore, 66, of Fort Worth and formerly of Lubbock, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Fort Worth, TX. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother Phillip Hamilton officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Taronna was born June 13, 1956, in Plainview, TX, to Truman and Mary (Rigdon) Moore. She graduated from Idalou High School in 1974 and attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University. Moving to Fort Worth from Lubbock in 2007, Taronna was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Idalou. She retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety and was a staunch animal rights activist. Taronna enjoyed bowling and absolutely loved her dogs.
