SPRINGLAKE VETERANS’ MEMORIAL – This Veterans’ Memorial, located on the campus of the Springlake-Earth Independent School District, was erected Nov. 11, 2003, “Dedicated to the men and women who proudly served our country” the United States in All Wars. This Memorial has names of a veteran on each of the bricks. Sponsors of the memorial are the 2003 Springlake-Earth Student Council, and City Bank of Earth. Springlake’s annual Cemetery service was canceled this year, because the paved roadway to the cemetery was under rain water. (Staff Photo by Joella Lovvorn)
