Happy April everyone! We are moving fast into spring, and we have a full month ahead of us. We had some Easter crafts on the 2nd, before we took time off in observance of Good Friday.
Additional crafts we will be making this month include a popcorn, pickles, and poetry workshop, earth day crafts, book decorating for world book day, and we’ll wrap it up by making some friendship bracelets.
We wrapped up our annual book sale and added some funds to our library program budget. Thank you to everyone who came by to support us. We are currently holding another program fundraiser, Sponsor-A-Shelf. For the month of April, you can sponsor a front shelf at the library for $100. You can decorate your shelf as you wish, to promote your business, or you can allow us to decorate your shelf. Shelf’s can be viewed by the public at Lamb County Library and pictures of each shelf will be posted on our Facebook page as well. We will also be posting the pictures to the Littlefield News Facebook page as well. All proceeds go into our funds for our programming. That means Summer Reading Program, Creative Sprouts, Kids Crafts, Movie Nights, etc.
We love hosting our community so stop by and make a craft, even if you are a big kid at heart.
