Announcing the 2024 Community Foundation of West Texas Grant Deadlines

The Community Foundation of West Texas is pleased to announce the grant deadlines for 2024, aimed at supporting and enriching our local communities. These opportunities present a chance for organizations and individuals to secure funding for impactful projects that contribute to the wellbeing and advancement of West Texas.

2024 Grants and Deadlines:

Community Funds (Applications open February 1 and August 1) - Due dates: April 1 & October 1 South Plains Foundation Grants (Application open now and again on June 1) - Due dates: February 1 and August 1 E. Jay Matsler Trust for Historic Preservation (Application opens June 1) - Due date: September 1 Mini-Grants for Teachers (Application opens February 1) - Due date: June 1 Applicants are encouraged to visit www.cfwtx.org/current-grantopportunities for detailed information, application guidelines, and to access the online application. Additionally, tutorial videos guiding applicants through the application process are available on the website to ensure a seamless application experience.

The Community Foundation of West Texas remains committed to fostering positive change in our communities through strategic grantmaking. These opportunities are designed to support a wide range of initiatives, from education and the arts to animal welfare and historic preservation. In 2023, the Foundation demonstrated its commitment to community impact by awarding $3.7 million in grants to 341 organizations, furthering its mission to support and uplift the West Texas region.
